Know your signs of burnout!

Psychological Red Flags:
- Decreased empathy and concern for patient outcome
- Detached and mechanical approach to life
- Poor attendance and social withdrawal
- Depression, anxiety, anger, mood swings or irritability

Physical Red Flags:
- Fatigue/exhaustion
- Change in sleep pattern
- Headaches
- Chest pain/palpitations
- GI symptoms
- Panic attacks
- Increased reliance on ETOH, illicit drugs, etc.

Doctors for Doctors
This program is a collaborative project of the Academy of Medicine Ottawa (AMO) as well as the Faculty Wellness Program, Faculty of Medicine, University of Ottawa. Code 99 encourages and facilitates physicians with the task of obtaining their own family physician.
